Whether you are new to counseling or returning from some time away, one of the most important elements is comfort and trust with your therapist. As such, I'd like to take a moment to tell you a little about me and my journey.
I developed an insatiable curiosity about human behavior at an early age. This has led me on many adventures, and I've concluded it is both endlessly fascinating and very difficult to be on the planet. I know we are all a work in progress, and none of us have all the answers. That said, I know the journey is easier when we can share our deepest feelings with someone we come to trust.
My training began at the University of Michigan where I received my Masters in Social Work. Many of my clients have spent years surviving experiences that left them feeling unseen, unsafe, or disconnected from themselves - whether because of childhood trauma, narcissistic relationships, chronic illness, or traumatic medical experiences. I specialize in helping people understand the impact of these experiences, process their trauma, and reconnect with their sense of self, agency, and hope.
Therapy isn’t about “fixing” who you are - it’s about helping you reconnect with your inner resilience, trust yourself again, and move from surviving to living more fully.
My work is informed not only by training, but by a deep appreciation for the courage it takes to heal from trauma, chronic illness, and experiences of being unseen or misunderstood.
Now that you know a little about me, I would love to learn more about you and your journey.
